IDK Purpose is based in Johannesburg, South Africa and owned by Tlotliso Leballo. Purpose was created because Tlotliso felt like he was only known as a basketball player. He made it his whole personality and lifestyle, and was convinced that it was his purpose. Over time, he discovered he was more than that and it wasn’t his only purpose. He discovered clothing as a passion and decided to take a risk and create Purpose Apparel. Virgil Abloh left a legacy for young entrepreneurs to fill to show the world that it isn’t for the money – it’s for the passion and love of clothing. Virgil inspired Tlotliso to spread his love to the world through clothes.
