THE STORY BEHIND THE BRAND
The Two Thousands was a creation birthed from destruction, the pandemic. As a result of the suffering caused by Covid-19, Bongi Balisa and Owethu Phekani started The Two Thousands initiative in support of those suffering from the times we faced in Africa. From their NGO efforts, the Garmember’s clothing range sprouted which uses South Africa’s favourite form of humour: Satire.
