How GARM Works

Welcome to GARM, your gateway to African creativity. We bridge the gap between curators and consumers, providing a curated marketplace where anyone can sell their streetwear, sneakers, and unique creations.

Whether you’re an emerging designer, an established brand looking for greater visibility, or a reseller offering pre-loved or unworn apparel, GARM provides a seamless, secure, and efficient selling experience.

Use this guide to understand how GARM works—from selling and shipping to payments and returns.

🚀 How GARM Works

Selling & Buying on GARM – A Simple Process

1️⃣ Brands and resellers register and gain access to the Seller Portal.
2️⃣ Products are uploaded, and after GARM approval, they appear on the seller’s unique GARM page.
3️⃣ Customers browse & purchase items, choosing home delivery or pickup.
4️⃣ Payments are securely processed through GARM’s payment system.
5️⃣ Sellers receive an order notification with dispatch instructions.
6️⃣ The seller prepares the order and attaches the provided waybill.
7️⃣ GARM’s courier partners pick up the package, and customers receive a tracking number.
8️⃣ Once the order is delivered, funds are released to the seller’s G-Wallet.
9️⃣ GARM pays out the seller 15 days after the order is confirmed as delivered.

GARM’s shipping is designed to make shopping seamless, whether customers purchase from one brand or multiple sellers.

Delivery Options

🚀 Pargo Pick-Up – Convenient collection from Pargo locations.
🏠 Home Delivery – Reliable doorstep delivery 
🌍 International Shipping – Orders are consolidated and sent via DHL.

How Sellers Prepare Orders

📍 Domestic Shipping (South Africa & Africa):
✅ Sellers ship directly from their registered location to the customer.
Waybills are automatically generated when an order is received.
✅ The waybill must be printed & attached to the parcel before pickup.

📦 International Shipping:
✅ Sellers ship items to GARM HQ for consolidation.
✅ GARM packages & ships the consolidated order via DHL.

💳 Shipping & Handling for Sellers

Who Pays for Shipping?

Single-Brand Orders: The customer covers shipping costs.
Multi-Brand Orders: The total shipping cost is shared among participating brands.
International Orders: Customers pay weight-based shipping fees.

How Are Fees Handled?

  • Shipping fees are deducted from the seller’s final payout.
  • Sellers can view detailed shipping cost breakdowns in their Seller Dashboard.
🔄 Returns & Refunds

📌 Buyer Right to Return

Customers may return products if they significantly differ from their descriptions or images.

📌 Exceptions:
Pre-Loved & Unworn Garms can only be returned if the item is proven inauthentic.

📦 Return Conditions

✅ Return request must be logged within 48 hours of receiving the item.
✅ Item must include original packaging & tags.
❌ Items worn beyond trial are not eligible for return.

🛠 How to Process a Return

1️⃣ Customers submit a return request via Pargo’s return system.
2️⃣ The seller receives the return request and reviews the item.
3️⃣ Once approved, refunds are issued as store credit or electronic transfer.

🚨 Seller Responsibility for Returns

  • If an item is proven counterfeit, the seller is responsible for return shipping.
  • The return shipping fee is deducted from the seller’s GARM account.

🚫 Prohibited Items

GARM is committed to maintaining a trustworthy marketplace. All items are vetted before listing to ensure compliance with our guidelines.

Medicines & healthcare products
Motorized vehicles
Drop-shipped items
Consumables (alcohol, tobacco, food items)
Offensive or harmful materials
Weapons & military-related products
Adult content
Direct payment requests outside of GARM
Vouchers, gift cards & intangible goods
Illegal substances & paraphernalia

💡 Violations may result in account suspension or removal from GARM.
