πŸ“ Sign-Up Process

1️⃣ Visit www.garm.shop and click β€œBecome a GARMember”.
2️⃣ Choose Your Role:

  • Reseller – Selling curated products from other brands.
  • Brand – Selling your own original designs.

3️⃣ Create Your Store: Fill in your details, and a unique GARM URL will be generated (e.g., www.garm/uniqueapparel.shop).
4️⃣ Approval Process:

  • GARM reviews your submission. If approved, you’ll receive an email notification.
  • Didn’t receive an email? Check spam/junk folders or contact us at garmember@garm.shop.

5️⃣ Access Your Seller Portal:

  • Log in via β€œMy Account” β†’ β€œDashboard” to begin setting up your store.

  • Add Products through your GARM Portal: Ensure product details include size, color, material, and high-quality images.
  • Upload Images in WebP Format: Garm will only accept and approve images in WebP format.Β  Use Squoosh to convert images if needed. Images should be between 150-200 KB

βœ… The first product image must have a white background (not worn by a model).
βœ… All images must be high resolution and in WebP format (Size: 150-200KB).
βœ… GARM reserves the right to decline uploads that do not meet quality standards.

βœ… Use Title Case (Only the first letter of each word capitalized).
❌ DO NOT use all capital letters.

At GARM, we believe in fair, transparent pricing that ensures a secure and highly curated marketplace for both sellers and buyers. Our pricing model is designed to maximize your earnings while covering the costs of maintaining a high-quality shopping experience.

πŸ’‘ How Our Fees Work

βœ… GARM charges a commission only on successful sales. This fee is automatically deducted from your GARM Wallet after an order is completed.
βœ… A monthly hosting fee is charged to feature your brand and products on GARM.
βœ… No hidden costs – all deductions and payments are clearly visible in your Seller Dashboard.

Through these fees, we ensure the highest level of safety and convenience for all users.


πŸ“¦ Shipping Costs for Multi-Brand Orders

As outlined in our Delivery Process, if a customer purchases from multiple brands in one order, shipping costs are partially covered by the sellers involved.

  • The customer pays a set shipping fee based on their location.
  • If the total shipping cost is higher than what the customer paid, the remaining amount is split among the participating brands based on the number of shipments in the order.
  • These additional shipping costs are deducted from the seller’s GARM Wallet.

πŸš€ Example A: Single-Brand Purchase

A seller lists a product at R500, and the customer pays R600 (R500 for the product + R100 for shipping).

Once the order is completed:
βœ… GARM deducts commission from the product price only.
βœ… The seller receives R405 in their GARM Wallet.

πŸ“Œ Calculation:

  • Product Revenue: R500
  • Commission Fee: Example figure used – 19%
  • Shipping Fees: R0 (Covered by the customer)
  • Amount Paid to Seller: R500 - 19% - R0 = R405

πŸ›οΈ Example B: Multi-Brand Purchase

A customer buys:

  • Product A (R500) from Brand X
  • Product B (R400) from Brand Y
  • Shipping: Local delivery (R100 paid by customer)

Total shipping cost for this order is R149.50. Since the customer only paid R100, the remaining R49.50 must be split between the two brands (R24.75 each).

Once the order is completed:
βœ… GARM deducts commission from the product price only.
βœ… The additional R24.75 shipping fee is deducted from each seller.
βœ… Brand X receives R380.25 after fees.

  • Shipping Fee Owed by Brand: (Total shipping fee - Customer shipping fee) / Number of brands
    • (R149.50 - R100) / 2 = R24.75
